Melanie Turner is an educator and musician with over 33 years of experience. She is a certified elementary school teacher, serves as a board member for the Mountain Music Teachers Association, as well as a teaching artist for the Kentucky Arts Council, Arts for All Kentucky, Partners for Rural Impact, and Pick & Bow. Melanie is a founding member of the all female band, Coaltown Dixie, who have performed together for over 15 years.
