Jimmy Webb grew up in Frankfort, KY, and came to play music because his dad was involved in the Kentucky music community. Amongst many other musical accomplishments, he has completed a Charlie Whitacker Memorial Apprenticeship with John Haywood and will be attending the Kentucky Center for Traditional Music at Morehead Statue University in the fall.
