Olivia Peppiatt is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter from Lexington, Kentucky. She picked up the fiddle at age eight under the instruction of Amy & Daniel Carwile, where she became versed in Old-Time, Bluegrass, Contest-Style, Jazz and Classical styles. She attended the School for the Creative and Performing Arts (SCAPA), where she studied violin for eight years. During this time, she developed an interest in guitar and songwriting. In 2019, Olivia moved to Nashville to continue her education as a Commercial Violin student at Belmont University. She has never left and enjoys singing and playing fiddle and guitar in bands of varying genres, from traditional Bluegrass to broader Folk music. Although she has always had a reverence for the storied roots of the traditional music she grew up playing, Olivia was truly bitten by the Old-Time bug when she first attended Cowan Creek Mountain Music School in 2022. She is looking forward to being a TA this year!
