Tyler Hughes is an old time musician and square dance caller from Big Stone Gap, VA. He has toured close to home and abroad in Czech Republic. He has appeared on PBS, NPR, and on WSM’s Grand Ole Opry. Hughes is a long time advocate for central Appalachia and currently serves as the Executive Director of The Crooked Road: Virginia’s Heritage Music Trail as well as serving as a member of the Big Stone Gap Town Council.
